The prospects of Team India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja for the 2027 World Cup are still being considered, with spin-bowling coach Sairaj Bahutule emphasising the left-hander’s utility. After missing the home series against Afghanistan and the tour of England, where he went wicketless and conceded 54 runs in his allotted quota, Ravindra Jadeja returned to the ODI squad against the West Indies in Thiruvananthapuram. In addition to Kuldeep Yadav and Washington Sundar, Bahutule mentioned the competition for positions in India’s spin department, where Axar Patel is now serving at the Asian Games.
